The DQR will help you whether you are learning in a vocational school, at a university of applied sciences or at university, in the workplace, or in your leisure time.

• Greater transparency: The DQR provides you with an overview of the different education and training opportunities and shows the competences and skills a qualification covers. This helps in Germany and also, in combination with the EQF, in other European countries.
   
• Improved comparability: The DQR is able to extend your understanding of qualifications because it makes their differences and similarities clear. This makes it easier for you to make decisions on further learning.
   
• Greater mobility and crediting: If you wish to learn in a different European country, it will be easier for you to show clearly which competences you have acquired. The indication of the EQF level on a qualification certificate makes this more easily understood for readers abroad. In addition to the traditional information covering subjects, learning content and outcomes achieved by the individual, they also provide information regarding which requirement level is equivalent to your competences acquired by completing the training.
